Something to get people talkin’

A campaign strategy that gets people laughing, sharing, and most importantly BUYING.

 
 
  • It all started out with planning a Halloween prank. A stunt that could involve two parties of people with a large online following. The reason for this was to get reciprocation from both sides of the stunt that leads back to the source.

    I devised the plan to “ice” a thriving local business, while we were in disguise. (If you don’t know what getting iced is look it up) ((And yes they were our friends… and still are…))

  • So I carved pumpkin helmets, devised a team, and the plan was set! We would show up prior to them opening, leave the package for them to find. (The Ice) and gone like the wind we were.

    While that seems simple, They didn’t know it was us. They had know idea who left this diabolical bomb of alcoholic beverages. So, as planned, they posted to their social media, “who did this?!” with their security footage.

    This got their followers talking and the video started to move. Quickly.

    Later that evening, we gave ourselves up with our video evidence I created of leaving the package for our buds. We put this on Instagram and TikTok so it was shareable and everyone could interact.

    We had a photo shoot in our pumpkin helmets to include in the stunt video to showcase and promote our new merchandise and it was as Borat would say, “Great success!”

  • Longer story short, it was great press for our buds, great marketing and FREE advertisement for us as a business and for our e-commerce platform to sell more product and gain more followers. Most importantly to me, it was a great time as well. 🙂
